PHOSFEIN DEPT. is a vintage visual haven, rescueing vintage CRTs and old tech, giving them a second life as temporary installations and glitch art. We celebrate light, nostalgia and imperfection, turning phosphor and signal into ephemeral, glowing experiences. Part studio, part playground.

WE‘VE WORKED WITH LOCAL PERTH + MELBOURNE BANDS AS A DIRECTING ASSISTANT + ANALOG VFX ARTIST.

OUR DEBUT MUSIC VIDEO WAS WITH MELBOURNE’S HEAVENSGATE PROVIDING GLITCH VFX FOR THEIR MUSIC VIDEO “RATKING”.

We’ve worked closely with BANDS LIKE INDIGO BLAZE, Pincer+ and DARKMATTER ON THEIR LATEST RELEASES, providing crt/glitch vfx and vhs tape degradation.

our Vhs tape degradation work can also be found for the intro of Chuckyy & Veeze’s music video “right key”.
